A 21-year-old man was fatally shot inside an apartment on Thanksgiving evening in Minneapolis. Police responded to the 700 block of Emerson Avenue North at 6:05 p.m., finding the victim with life-threatening injuries. He was rushed to the hospital but later died.
“On a day meant for celebration, another family is shattered by senseless violence,” said Police Chief Brian O’Hara, urging anyone with information to come forward.
Preliminary investigations reveal the victim was struck by a single gunshot before the suspect fled the scene. Authorities are now pursuing leads to bring justice for the victim.
