Bomb on Wheels: Ukrainian E-Scooter Attack Kills Putin’s Top General Near Kremlin

In a daring assassination, Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, Russia’s chief of Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Protection Forces, was killed alongside his assistant when a bomb hidden inside an electric scooter exploded outside his Moscow apartment. The attack, reportedly orchestrated by Ukraine’s secret services, was remotely detonated, leaving the area shattered and blood-stained.

The timing of Kirillov’s death is no coincidence. Just 24 hours prior, Ukraine accused him of overseeing the use of banned chemical weapons, including toxic grenades and choking agents, against its troops—war crimes the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) says it has documented over 4,800 times since the war began.

Kirillov, 54, was infamous for spreading conspiracy theories about U.S.-backed bioweapons labs and “dirty bombs” in Ukraine, earning him sanctions from the UK and intense scrutiny from international watchdogs.

As investigators comb through the rubble on Ryazansky Prospekt, questions loom: how did Ukraine pull off such a brazen attack mere miles from the Kremlin? And what message does it send to Putin’s inner circle?

One thing is clear: the war’s shadow has crept into Moscow, and Ukraine is hitting back—hard.
