NEW LISBON, Wis. — A desperate search is underway for 47-year-old Virgil G. Thew, identified as a person of interest after two juveniles and one adult were found dead in a New Lisbon home Monday afternoon.

The tragedy unfolded on the 300 block of West Bridge Street after police, initially searching for two missing juveniles, made the grim discovery around 4:30 p.m. Thew, last seen with one of the juveniles, is now the subject of an intense manhunt. Authorities have labeled him armed and dangerous, warning the public not to approach him.

New Lisbon Police revealed that Thew is already wanted by Wisconsin Probation and Parole. His connection to the victims remains unclear, but investigators are urging anyone with information on his whereabouts to call 911 immediately.

As the community reels from this horrific crime, law enforcement is mobilizing every resource to locate Thew and bring answers to a town shattered by this sudden loss.
