drone attack

A fed-up New Jersey sheriff launched his department’s drone to track a swarm of mysterious, SUV-sized flying objects—only to watch them vanish with ease.

Ocean County Sheriff Michael Mastronardy deployed an industrial-grade drone Thursday night after 50 unidentified drones were spotted “coming off the ocean.” The response included state police, the FBI, and even the Coast Guard, which later reported being tailed by 13 of the eight-foot-wide UAVs. Despite efforts, the drones, which emitted no heat signatures, evaded capture, leaving officials baffled.

“This isn’t just pranksters,” said journalist Rich McHugh, who initially doubted the reports until witnessing the bizarre objects himself. “If it’s not our military, it’s something even scarier.”

Theories abound, from foreign adversaries to overactive imaginations, though residents across 12 New Jersey counties—and parts of Pennsylvania and New York—aren’t buying the latter. While White House officials downplayed the incidents as misidentified manned aircraft, locals and witnesses, including Sheriff Mastronardy, remain unconvinced.

For now, the mysterious drones remain untracked and unexplained, leaving residents uneasy as they scan the skies for what might come next.
