In a chilling incident, two bodies were found hidden in the landing gear compartment of a JetBlue plane after it landed in Fort Lauderdale late Monday night. The aircraft had just completed Flight 1801 from New York’s JFK Airport, arriving shortly after 11 p.m., according to FlightAware.
The gruesome discovery came during a routine post-flight maintenance check at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, JetBlue confirmed.
Authorities are now investigating how the individuals managed to breach security and access the aircraft. The identities of the deceased have not been released as the probe continues.
